Last School Day

Students will attend school a half day on Thursday, May 24. Dismissal will be at 11:45.

WE MET OUR GOAL!

Cedar Grove collected 10,000 plastic bags needed to have a composite wood bench made for Bays Mountain Park.  We are still collecting bags, so bring them to school. Clean Plastic accepted: grocery bags, bread bags, Ziploc bags, dry cleaning bags. THE LAST DAY TO BRING BAGS TO SCHOOL IS FRIDAY, MAY 18.

 

Cedar Grove Elementary School is located in the Bloomingdale area of Kingsport, Tennessee.  The school is one of 14 elementary schools in the Sullivan County Public Schools system and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.  The enrollment of Cedar Grove Elementary is 288 students.  Classes consist of Pre-Kindergarten through sixth grade.  There are 16 classroom teachers, 1 resource teacher, 2 kindergarten assistants, 4 title-one assistants, 2 part-time assistants, and 5 special and related arts teachers.  The school colors are blue and gold and the school mascot is a bulldog.  The principal of Cedar Grove Elementary is Cathy Horton.  The school secretary/bookkeeper is Mrs. Brooke Robbins.
